Forget about atmosphere this place is the epitome of al hole in the wall, I stopped by on a whimp , not expecting anything to write home about. Ordered to go, and when I got home and try their food, it was a harmony of flavors, a total homerun! delicious, Authentic Mexican tacos. I had tacos al pastor and orchata . All the ingredients were fresh and tasted amazing. This place is totally underrated. Their hot red salsa was cooked to perfection with a smoky flavor. Keep the good work your food is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly and definitely take pride of their food.if you are in Westminster definitely stop by if you want to tasted some authentic Mexican food.

We ordered 12 tacos for three people and only had the steak and shrimp. Both were very fresh. My husband loved the tortillas too. The warm salsa was off-putting me. I expected the flavors since the salsa was warm, to be more rich (have more depth), it just tasted like warm tomato soup with maybe a hint of sauteed onions. I'm used to fresh-crisp (cold) salsas.
Hubby and friends said they would go back when back in Westminster.

I know my review is a year old but we have gone several times since and it is still amazing! :) (also, the flan and chocolate flan are delicious!)
Everything was delicious! We really enjoyed this restaurant and we have gone back several times. It is a small "hole in the wall" type place with about 8 tables. They had fast, friendly service. My kids loved the pupusas. I have tried the sopes, enchiladas, and tacos and they were all great!

Hands down, the best authentic Mexican and El Salvadoran in the county. Best tacos, burritos, and sandwiches. Daily specials you will not see every day. Always fresh and hot. Obscure location, but don't let that steer you away. No alcohol served and I'm not sure if it is BYOB, but you don't need it. Take out is welcome. Avoid the other big box competitors and come to Del Huerto now!

Looks like a hole in the wall, but it is WONDERLAND! The best Mexican authentic food I’ve had in Carroll County. Employees are so nice, menu has plenty of options, and the food is definitely worth more than the price. They could up charge me and I would still be happy😁

After being on the road coming from Virginia, we stopped to get dinner. We wanted something familiar (Mexican food) so we decided to try this place on the way home. It was an awful experience. So bad, I'm writing this as I sit in the restaurant regretting wasting money on such a bland meal. The service was awful when we walked in. The employee did not greet us and was rude. We ordered, and sat down. The food was just grease, and everything needed salt. We ordered pupusas and a burrito. Some other patrons left their drinks on the table, and the waitress told them to pick it up and put it away as they walked out, making the people come back to put it away. We are never coming back here.

I recently tried this Mexican restaurant and unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. I ordered the green enchiladas, but the portion of sauce was very small and the chicken inside was extremely dry and lacking flavor. It took a while for the receptionist to understand my order, and the wait time to actually receive the food felt much too long.
The atmosphere also wasn’t great — the music and radio ads were blasting loudly, making it hard to enjoy the meal. On top of that, there were no clear instructions on where to find utensils, so you have to figure it out on your own.
Overall, the experience was disappointing. Between the flavorless food, slow service, and poor ambiance, I don’t think I’d return.

This spot instantly became our favorite Mexican restaurant!
We ate chicken nachos and street tacos. Holy, for the love……they were so delicious!!! Each bite was full of amazing flavors. We also had roasted jalapeños. Just perfect.
They were busy the whole time we were there. Mainly carry out. There’s plenty of seating though.
We are not close to this restaurant but it is worth the drive. We will be back many, many times.

This place is great, and the food is better. I will be eating here for the foreseeable future. It is also next door to a fine laundromat and a little convenience store also with the Del Huerto name. I guess same person owns them but regardless if you are looking for authentic Mexican food for a good price, breakfast lunch and dinner, you need to check out Del Huerto. My favorite is that Monster Carne Asada Burrito they have...
AWESOME!
Thanks

Worst experience in my life.
First off- no prices on the menu! We ordered 4 street (tiny) tacos & a kids cheese quesadilla (literally a small tortilla folded- only made 2 small pieces) & 2 drinks cost $30! Whatever, overpriced but I paid, no complaints. We sit & wait for 30 min and are given stale chips and some sort of store bought salsa microwaved (watched them literally dump it from a jar & warm it in microwave) When the food came I asked for 1 red & 1 green taco hot sauce & the lady literally scoffed, stomped & acted offended I would ask her to do her job. She comes back throws the green sauce on the table and starts to walk away. I asked again for a red sauce & was rudely told I can only have 1 sauce. I said I wanted both and then she says I have to pay for it. At this point I’m livid, the food is expensive, the chips are stale, the tacos were bland & the carne asada meat was chewy, the only decent part were the tortillas; the quesadilla ended up being inedible due to being extremely soggy- literally soggy wet tortilla with cheese. I spent 30$ for disgusting food and a horrible service. I could handle bad food it happens, but the service was so bad, the staff were SO rude I had to leave a review to warn others. Do NOT eat here do not waste your money. Go across the street to Papa Joes at least their service is nice and respectful. I would give this place 0 stars if possible! Never going back.
